How the figures are calculated
The performance shown on this website is calculated automatically from the actual history of the strategy's account. This page explains where the figures come from, what they measure and what they do not.
Where the data comes from
The figures are based on the full history of operations on the strategy's trading account at Vantage, since its launch on 11 November 2022. Every 4 hours, new operations are retrieved and every figure on the site is recalculated, with no manual input. Last calculation: 2 October 2026.
What is counted
- Only AUDCAD and NZDCAD, the strategy's two pairs, from 11 November 2022. Trades on other markets made with the same account are not part of the strategy and are not counted in its performance. They may however have weighed on the account balance, and therefore on the risk, as explained on the Risks page.
- Only closed trades. A trade counts on the day it is closed, for its net result: profit or loss, broker commission and financing costs (swap) included. Positions that are still open are not counted.
How the percentage is calculated
Each closed trade is measured against the account balance at the time it closes, and the results are then chained, like compound interest: a 2% gain followed by a 3% gain gives +5.06%, not +5%. This time-weighted method measures the strategy itself: deposits and withdrawals made on the account have no effect on the percentage.
The figures shown
- Performance since launch (+3,458%): every closed trade chained since 11 November 2022.
- Result for a month or a year: the same measure between the start and the end of the period.
- Months in profit (48 / 48): months whose closed trades are profitable overall.
- Worst drawdown on closed trades (−5.5%): the largest fall in performance, from a high to a low, day after day.
What the figures do not tell you
- Floating losses. While a basket is open, the account can fall much further than the worst drawdown shown: about 75% at worst, in April 2025. See the Risks page and its simulator.
- The copiers' fee. The figures are the strategy's, before the 20% fee charged on the profits of copying accounts.
- Your exact result. When you start copying, the amount, the 0.01 lot minimum size, execution delays or settings different from the guide: your account may differ from the strategy.
- The future. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
